Children’s Home

Loving Orphans

CMSO (Chenaniah Ministries Service Organization) takes care of 51 children. These children are orphans or have only one parent. Being mostly children of beggars and gypsies; they were brought to the home for food, education, clothing, and to be raised in the fear of God. There are many children still on the streets without any hope in their lives. There are impoverished parents who are not able to feed or educate their children because of their poverty. We bring these children into our home and help them grow with a hope toward their futures. For example, children such as Lalitha, Durga Prasad, and Anvesh who came to the home are now working in hospitals, schools and offices. Pray for the children and their need for sponsors. The current primary need of the children is their residence building which is under construction. Children are India’s future and by investing into them we can change the future.

Minister Support

Reaching Out

CMSO has a group of pastors, who are associated with the organization’s ministerial work, reaching the unreached villages with the gospel, food, and medicines. Every month we select a village or a particular place and then we as a group go there. We stay there for two full days and walk through the village sharing the gospel and distributing the New Testament Bibles. We also pray for the sick by visiting every house in the village. We conduct open-air gospel meetings in the evenings and proclaim the good news. These pastors are very poor and not in the position to feed their families. Despite their financial crisis, they are very enthusiastic to take the gospel of Christ to the people. Please kindly pray and support the pastors who are in great need financially. Your sponsorship will provide food and medicines and meet all their needs.

Helping Hands

Empowering Women

Helping hands is a project started primarily for women who have lost their husbands at a very young age after marriage. We recognize these helpless young women by giving them sewing training for three months. After they have completed the training we present them a Sewing Machine for their own livelihood. To date we have gifted 70 needy women with their own sewing machine. These women have testified that it is enabling them to lead their families and meet their needs. Each sewing machine costs $125.00. Please kindly pray for these woman as they grieve and consider helping them by securing their future.

Water Wells

Enabling Villages

Water is a precious thing in India. All over the world it is free availability and often taken for granted. But in India that is not the case, it is a necessity item but not readily available. People walk long distances to get water to drink. Often even after walking long distances, there may not be water available and if it is available, it’s not clean enough to drink. With clean water in a village, you can give an entire village hope for the future. Recently, we have drilled many wells in many impoverished villages. The need for clean drinking water is vital to the health and empowerment of these people. A well costs a little under $2k. A well is unique investment with an incredibly long term profit.

Youth Retreats

Future Leaders

Youth are the future pillars of the church. Today youth in our churches are moving away from God and tempted to choose dangerous activities like drugs and alcohol. Our hearts yearn for these youth and their growth in Christ. One way we encourage them is to conduct annual youth retreats for them. Youth come from surrounding villages to participate. During the retreats they learn the word of God, worship, lessons, games and quizzes. These young people are encouraged to choose wisely and live lives that are filled with love.

Gospel Camps

Spreading Love

Our Pastor Team, a dedicated group of men have banded together as brothers. Every month, they select a village to carry the Gospel of Christ into, knocking on each door, praying for sick people, and distributing New Testament Bibles and Christian literature. In our ministerial works, we as a team travel to many different villages and long distances to proclaim the good news of Christ. Because of the long distances, we are finding it challenging to reach the villages all together and often are hindered in being able to help people. We are praying for a bus through which we can reach many villages together and share the good news of Christ. The bus would also help the children in our home to go to different places during their holidays from school.

Christmas Donations

Joy

Christmas is a joyful celebration all over the world, people decorate their houses and exchange gifts, and most children have a wonderful time. But in India it’s entirely different, there are kids who even don’t know what is a gift is or the meaning of Christmas.

Through our organization, Christmas is a celebration on our campus. We invite many people of all faiths to come and participate in our celebration and dinner. During our Christmas program, we distribute blankets and sarees to the poor and elderly. We also give a set of new clothes to the children who reside with us in our home extending even to the poor children in the Church. During this season, we are able to share the real love of Christ.
